Robert Roland "Rob" Schneiderman, born on June 21, 1957 in Boston,
Massachusetts, is a jazz pianist and mathematician. He started his professional
music career at around age 16 in San Diego, playing for visiting soloists like
Eddie Harris and Sonny Stitt. In 1982, Schneiderman moved to New York City,
performing with musicians such as J.J. Johnson and Chet Baker. His debut album
New Outlook was released in 1988 under the Reservoir music label. Throughout his
