Rob Kelly
Rob Kelly, born in 1978 in Wexford, Ireland, is an Irish rapper, record
producer, and MC who developed an interest in hip‑hop in the late 1980s after
watching the BBC 2 show Dance Energy. He began his career with the mixtape The
Kellection (2004) and gained recognition with Bragging Rights (2007). His album
Kel Terrible (2013) reached Number 1 on the Irish iTunes hip‑hop charts,
followed by Kel Perro (2014) and Black Irish Rogue (2014), the latter featuring
the track "4 Horsemen", the first Irish hip‑hop video aired on US MTV2. In 2016,
