Rita Indiana
Rita Indiana Hernández Sánchez, known as “La Monstra” (born June 11, 1977, in
Santo Domingo), is a Dominican writer and singer-songwriter. Indiana began a
musical career in 2006 after moving to Puerto Rico, recording the single “Altar
Epandex” with Miti Miti. In 2009, she formed the group Rita Indiana y Los
Misterios, releasing the debut album El Juidero in 2010. The record blended
analog and digital sounds and featured the single “La Hora de Volve”, an anthem
