Rising Appalachia, an American folk music group led by sisters Leah Song and
Chloe Smith, was formed in 2005. The duo's first album, Leah & Chloe, recorded
in Atlanta, Georgia, gained unexpected support, leading to the establishment of
Rising Appalachia as a band. In 2007, they released their second album, Scale
