Ricky Lynn Gregg, born on August 22, 1959, in Longview, Texas, was an American
country music artist of Native American descent. He began singing in church at a
young age and formed the Ricky Lynn Gregg Project as a teenager. In 1978, he
moved to Fort Worth, Texas, and performed with the band Savvy. By 1992, Gregg
signed to Liberty Records and released his self-titled debut album, which
included the single "If I Had a Cheatin' Heart." His second album, Get a Little
