Richie Vitale
Richie Vitale, born on September 23, 1954 in Rochester, New York, is an American
jazz trumpeter, arranger, and composer. He played trumpet in the 2010 Broadway
production Come Fly Away, where he performed with a 19‑piece big band playing
the music of Frank Sinatra. Vitale released Vitalogy in 2011, followed by
Full Circle in 2022. He toured across Europe, Japan, and Korea, and worked with
Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Buddy Rich, James Taylor, and Sting. He taught at
Long Island University, Manhattan School of Music, and
New Jersey City University.
