Richard Digance, born February 24, 1949, in Plaistow, East London, is an English
comedian and folk singer. After studying mechanical engineering in Glasgow, he
began his music career as a member of the British folk band Pisces, who released
their self-titled album in 1971. In the 1970s, Digance toured extensively,
supporting artists such as Steve Martin and Jethro Tull. From 1974 to 1978, Doug
