Richard Clapton, born on May 18, 1948, in Sydney, Australia, is a
singer-songwriter and producer. He began his musical journey in the mid-1960s,
forming bands like Darktown Strutters and Sopwith Camel. In 1972, Richard
Clapton returned to Australia and signed with Infinity Records, releasing his
debut single "Last Train to Marseilles" that year. His first album, Prussian
Blue, was released in November 1973. Clapton's breakthrough came with the
