Marece Benjamin Richards, known professionally as Rich Boy, was born on February
8, 1983, in Mobile, Alabama. He is an American rapper who began his career after
dropping out of Tuskegee University, where he studied mechanical engineering to
pursue a rap career. His breakthrough came with the single "Throw Some D's"
featuring Polow da Don, which peaked at Number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in
2006. This success led to his debut studio album Rich Boy, released in March
