Riccardo Chailly
Riccardo Chailly is an Italian conductor whose adventurous style has endeared
him to audiences and critics around the world. Currently he combines activities
at Filarmonica della Scala in Milan and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in
Switzerland. His latest recording with the Lucerne Orchestra, 'Igor Stravinsky:
Chant Funèbre, The Faun and The Shepherdess, Op. 2, Le Sacre du Printemps' came
out in January 2018.
Born in Italy, he studied with his composer father Luciano Chailly and at music
