Reshma, born around 1947 in Loha, Ratangarh, Churu near Bikaner, Rajasthan,
India, was a Pakistani folk singer. Born into a nomadic Banjara household, her
family relocated to Karachi after the Partition of India. Reshma's musical
journey began at the age of twelve when she was discovered by Saleem Gilani
while singing at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, Sindh. Her first
recording, "Lal Meri Pat Rakhio", released on Radio Pakistan in 1968, catapulted
