Renee Spearman was born on March 3, 1969, in Lynwood, California, and is an
American gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and choir leader. The daughter of
a pastor, she grew up singing in church and later began recording in the 1990s,
leading the Prosperity Crusade Choir on Change the World in 1995 and From a
Songwriter’s Perspective later that decade. She also worked as a session and
