Red Zebra
Red Zebra is a Belgian new wave band from Bruges, formed in 1978 initially under
the name The Bungalows. The group gained early recognition with their 1980 debut
single “I Can’t Live in a Living Room" and the release of their mini-album
Bastogne in 1981. Their first full-length album, Maquis, was released in 1983.
Following an initial split, the band later reunited and released several albums,
including A Red Zebra Is Not a Dead Zebra (1994), and Mimicry (1997). Their
discography also includes the compilation From Ape to Zebra (1992) and Songs and
Stripes (2020).
