Red Flag was an English and American synth-pop, industrial, and electronic band
established in 1984 in San Diego by brothers Chris Reynolds and Mark Reynolds.
Their career featured the 1984 recording “Distant Memories” under the name
Shades of May. The recording history of the band included the debut single
“Broken Heart” (1988) and the album Naïve Art (1989), released through Enigma
Records. The singles “Russian Radio” and “If I Ever” reached number 11 and
