RDB, an acronym for Rhythm, Dhol, Bass, was formed in 1997 by British Indian
brothers Kuldeep, Surjeet and Manjeet Singh Ral. The band blended western genres
with traditional Punjabi beats and vocals. Their musical journey began with
singing at the gurdwara, where they assisted their father in performances. In
2003, RDB won Best Club DJ Bhangra at the UK Asian Music Awards. They released
several albums including Rhythm Dhol Bass (2001) and Unstoppable (2003). In
