Raymond Lauchengco, born November 29, 1965 in the Philippines, is a singer and
actor known for his contributions to musical theater. His career began at age 12
when he played Louis in Repertory Philippines' staging of The King and I. At 18,
Lauchengco transitioned into mainstream Philippine showbusiness, gaining
prominence as one of the teen idols of the 1980s with his role in the film
Bagets. He represented the Philippines at the Tokyo Music Festival in 1987. His
