Raymond Howard Boltz, born in 1953 in Muncie, Indiana, U.S., is an American
retired singer-songwriter known for his work in contemporary Christian music.
His breakthrough came with the song "Thank You", which won the Song of the Year
prize at the 1990 GMA Dove Awards. Notable releases include Watch the Lamb
(1986), The Altar (1989), and Another Child to Hold (1991). His album Allegiance
(1994) featured "I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb", which won a Dove Award for
