Rausch, a German rock band from Cologne, was formed in 1987 under the name Mush
and the Room. The group changed their name to Rausch in 1988, inspired by
Timothy Leary. Their debut album Rausch was released in 1989, followed by their
first single "El Tiempo Es Un Queso Camembert". That same year, they supported
The B-52’s on their European tour. Rausch gained attention for their activism,
including the controversial motif "Keine Macht den Doofen" and advocacy for
cannabis legalization. Throughout the 1990s, they released several albums,
including The Indi(A) Collection, Glad, Goo...
