Raul Rodriguez
Raúl Rodríguez Quiñones, born 8 January 1974 in Seville, Spain, is a musician,
composer, and cultural historian. After initial training in blues and rock, he
embraced flamenco guitar under the influence of Diego del Gastor, joining
Kiko Veneno’s band and contributing to albums such as Punta Paloma (1997) and
Dice la Gente (2010). Rodríguez expanded his work in the 2000s with the trio Son
de la Frontera, producing Son de la Frontera (2004) and Cal (2006), the latter
earning a nomination for a Latin Grammy in 2007. In 2013, he released De un
