a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and percussionist known for his contributions to
traditional music. Raised in Mar del Plata, Carnota had a brief stint with the
group Los Huanca Hua in 1968 and began his professional career in 1972 as part
of Adolfo Ábalos' group, participating in notable performances such as El piano
