Rapture
Rapture, a doom metal band from Helsinki, Finland, was formed in 1997. The group
initially gained traction with their demo Broken Daydream released in 1998. In
late 1999, Rapture signed with Spinefarm Records and released their debut album,
Futile. This album was also licensed to Relapse Records for distribution outside
of Finland. Their second album, Songs For The Withering, released in early 2002,
outperformed their debut and expanded their recognition beyond Finland, leading
