Rainer Pusch (contributor)
Rainer Pusch was born on 26 April 1954 in Nürnberg, Germany. He began saxophone
studies at age twelve and later studied mathematics and physics at the
University of Heidelberg. After lessons with Pony Poindexter and George Coleman,
he completed formal training at Berklee College of Music from 1981 to 1983. In
1984, he founded a big band in Heidelberg, and in 1986, he toured southern
France, performing with Art Farmer and Peter Herbolzheimer. His discography
