Rahul Deshpande is an Indian classical singer and actor born on October 10,
1979, in Pune. The grandson of Vasantrao Deshpande, he received training from
teachers including Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare, Madhusudhan Patwardhan, Ushatai
Chipalkatti, and Mukul Shivputra. His repertoire includes genres such as khayal,
dhruvpad, thumri, and bhajan. Deshpande arranges the annual music festival
Vasantotsav. He performed in stage productions including Katyar Kaljat Ghusali
