Ragnarok
Ragnarok is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Sarpsborg in 1994 by Jerv and
Jontho after leaving Thoth. The group's lyrical themes include Norse Mythology,
Vikings, Satanism, War, and Anti-Christianity. Their name is derived from the
Old Norse word Ragnarök, signifying the prophesied last battle between the Norse
gods and the giants. Shortly after forming, Ragnarok released their first demo,
Et Vinterland i Nord, in 1994. The band's debut album, Nattferd, was released in
