Raghu Dixit
Raghupathi Dwarakanath Dixit, known professionally as Raghu Dixit, was born on
November 11, 1974, in Mysore, India. He is an Indian singer-songwriter and the
frontman of the multilingual folk music band, the Raghu Dixit Project. Dixit
initially pursued a career in microbiology but later transitioned into music.
His self-titled debut album was released on September 20, 2010, by Vishal &
Shekhar Music and Wrasse Records, reaching Number 1 on the iTunes World Music
