German punk-rock band Radio Havanna took shape in Suhl in 2002. The members -
singer Fichte, guitarist Arni, bassist Oli and drummer Anfy - began by covering
American pop-punk bands such as Offspring and Green Day, before building up
their own repertoire. The musicians, who were very committed to the cause and,
in particular, proclaimed themselves to be anti-fascists, chose the name Radio
Havanna in reference to a Rancid song. A first demo, Hossings Bruder, was soon
released, followed by a first studio album, Aus der Traum? released on Fatsound
