Rachel Therrien, born on March 29, 1987, in Saint-Valérien, Canada, is a
trumpeter and composer. She began playing the trumpet during her high school
years in Montreal and studied at the Université de Montréal and the Instituto
Superior de Arte in Cuba. Her debut album On Track was released in 2011 with a
quintet featuring Simon Pagé, Charles Trudel, Alain Bourgeois, and Benjamin
Deschamps. Therrien's second album, Home Inspiration, followed in 2014. In 2016,
she recorded Pensamiento: Proyecto Colombia in Colombia, collaborating with
