R2, whose real name is Rayann Kipre, is a French rapper of Ivorian and Ethiopian
descent. Born in Saint-Denis on August 26, 2004, he grew up in Arpajon in the
Essonne department and began listening to rap at a very young age, before
launching his solo career. In July 2023, he gained recognition with the music
