Quartier Latin International, also known as Quartier Latin, is a Congolese soukous, rumba, and ndombolo band from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The ensemble was founded in 1986 by composer, guitarist, vocalist, and dancer Koffi Olomide, quickly establishing itself in the Congolese music scene with lyrics in Lingala and French. The band released the studio album Affaire d'État (2003), which consolidated its reputation across Africa and led to tours in Europe and North America.
