Predawn
Miwako Shimizu, known professionally as Predawn, born in 1986 in Niigata, Japan,
is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She launched a solo career in 2008 and released
her debut mini-album, 手のなかの鳥 (2010). Her discography includes the studio albums
A Golden Wheel (2013) and Absence (2016), the EP Calyx EP (2019), and the album
The Gaze (2022). She has performed at major music festivals throughout Japan,
including Fuji Rock, Summer Sonic, and the Rising Sun Rock Festival.
