Povl Dissing, born on January 27, 1938, in Farum, Denmark was a Danish singer
known for his unique and emotional vocal style. He initially played the trumpet
but switched to guitar after an injury. Dissing's music career began with his
album debut En aften i folkeklubben in 1965. His breakthrough came in 1973 with
the album Svantes viser, a collaboration with poet Benny Andersen, which was
