Portugal. The Man
Based in Portland, Oregon and formed in 2004, the American quartet Portugal. The
Man, led by singer John Gourley. Incorporating elements of funk and synthpop,
they cultivate psychedelic pop-rock with a care that doesn't prevent them from
being prolific, releasing five albums in their five years of existence: Waiter:
