Popol Ace was a Norwegian progressive rock band from Oslo that emerged in the
early 1970s and became part of the Norwegian rock scene with songs such as “All
We Have Is the Past,” “Queen of all Queens,” and “Music Box.” The group
initially evolved from a larger jazz-rock ensemble featuring a brass section
known as Arman Sumpe Dur Express. After the horn section departed, the remaining
members adopted the name Popol Vuh, before later changing it to Popol Ace to
