ぽこた

Pokota, born in Niigata Prefecture on January 12, 1983, is a Japanese singer and
member of the vocal group ROOT FIVE. In 2011, Pokota debuted as part of ROOT
FIVE with the single "MERRY GO ROUND" under avex trax. He made his solo debut in
2012 with the album I Quit My Job at 28 to Pursue Music under Yoshimoto ARC. In
2014, Pokota and keyboardist Rino formed the indie unit Egamaiya. Although they
became inactive in 2011, they resumed activities in 2015 with CD releases and
live performances. His solo discography includes notable releases such as "be
foolish///" (2013) and "Wanchan...
