Playa Fly
Ibn Young, known as Playa Fly, was born on September 2, 1977, in Memphis,
Tennessee. He began his rap career by releasing an independent album before
signing with Super Sigg Records. In 1996, he released Fly Shit, featuring tracks
like "Nappy Hair & Gold Teeth" and "Da Show". He followed this with Movin' On in
1998, which reached number 90 on the US R&B Albums chart. After leaving Super
Sigg, he created Minnie Mae Muzik but was arrested for narcotics possession and
