Pieces of a Dream were part of the Philly soul phenomenon in the 1980s and are best known for their hit single 'Fo-Fi-Fo' which made the US top 20 in 1983. The slick, Grover Washington-produced track was a radio friendly recording and it established the band into what is now commonly referred to as the smooth jazz genre.
