Phonique
Michael Vater, known professionally as Phonique, is a German performer and
producer from Berlin. He began his career in 1998 and released his debut album
Identification in autumn 2004. Phonique's early singles include "So Close To Me"
(2001) and "Deep Rhodes" (2002). His second album, Good Idea, was released in
2007, followed by Kissing Strangers in 2010. Notable collaborations include work
with Paris the Black Fu, Erlend Øye, Alexander East, Ian Whitelaw, and Dixon.
Phonique has also released several EPs and singles, such as "The Red Dress"
(2004) featuring Die Elfen and "John" ...
