PFR
PFR is an American Christian rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The
group was founded in 1989 as the Joel Hanson Band by guitarist and vocalist Joel
Hanson, eventually adding bassist Patrick Andrew and drummer Mark Nash. The band
signed with Vireo Records in 1991 under the name Inside Out before changing
their name to Pray for Rain and releasing their self-titled debut album, Pray
for Rain (1992). A threatened lawsuit by an existing group prompted a name
