Petra Janů, born on November 19, 1952, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is a singer
and actress. Her breakthrough came with her early performances and recordings,
establishing her as a prominent figure in the music scene. In 1987, she won the
Zlatý slavík for Female Singer of the Year, an award she also received in 1988
and 1989. Janů's discography includes notable albums such as Album (1997) and
Jedeme dál II with Petr Janda (2002).
