Petr Muk, born on February 4, 1965 in Český Krumlov, Czechoslovakia, was a pop musician, composer, and performer. He began performing at fifteen with underground punk bands including Dural and Gas. In 1985, he formed the synth-pop group Oceán, which gained popularity in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Oceán supported the band and their influence Erasure on their UK tour between 1989 and 1990.
