Peter Thorup

Peter Thorup was born on December 14, 1948, in Søllerød, and is a Danish guitarist, singer, composer, flautist, and producer. He began his music career at age 18, when he co-founded the soul and blues-inspired band Beefeaters. He met Alexis Korner, who formed New Church, and together they later formed CCS in 1970. They had a hit with Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love". He collaborated on several albums, including Korner's 1972 release Accidentally Born in New Orleans.
