Peter Charles Combe, born on October 20, 1948 in Adelaide, Australia, is a
musician and children's entertainer. He began his musical journey influenced by
folk singers of the 1960s while teaching primary school music at Prince Alfred
College in the late 1970s. Combe started writing songs for his students and
created operettas. In 1982, he released Songs for Little Kids, which introduced
contemporary instrumentation to children’s music. His subsequent albums included
Spaghetti Bolognaise (1985) and Newspaper Mama (1988). Combe won three ARIA
