Peril was an Australian-Japanese industrial band formed in Melbourne, Australia,
in 1992. The group consisted of Tony Buck on drums and samples, Otomo Yoshihide
on turntablism and guitar, Michael Sheridan on guitar, and Kato Hideki on bass
guitar and vocals. Their music was characterized by complex rhythmic bases and
improvised rock elements. Peril's debut performance occurred at the Sydney
Sesquicentenary Jazz Festival in February 1992. The band released their
self-titled debut album Peril in 1993 via Dr Jim's Records, followed by
Multiverse in 1994 on Invisible/SF Records after...
