Péricles Aparecido Fonseca de Faria, born on June 22, 1969, in Santo André, is a
celebrated Brazilian pagode singer, composer, and instrumentalist. His career
began as the lead vocalist of the iconic group Exaltasamba, which he joined in
the late 1980s. With Exaltasamba, Péricles recorded over 20 albums and DVDs,
touring extensively throughout Brazil. In 2012, after the group's dissolution,
he embarked on a successful solo career, releasing his debut solo album
