Perfume, a British indie rock group from Leicester, was formed in 1993 by Mick
McCarthy and Tony Owen. The band initially released records on their own label,
Aromasound, starting with the single "Yoga/Perfume" in December 1993. Their
breakthrough came with the release of "Lover" in 1995, which gained significant
airplay on BBC Radio One and featured in NME and Melody Maker. The band's
success continued with hits like "Haven't Seen You", which reached Number 71 on
