PDR, a German indie band from Düsseldorf, was formed in 2006 by brothers
Aljoscha and Niklas Mallmann along with Matthias Stamm. The group initially went
by the name Punk’d Royal, which was later shortened to PDR. Their first official
release was the EP Muscles in 2010, followed by tours across Germany and Europe,
including support slots for acts like The Kills and The Drums. In 2013, PDR
released their debut album On a Whim, produced with Chris Moore in New York and
Baltimore. Their single "Drive", also gained wider recognition through its use
in the TV show Germany’s Next Topmo...
