Pauline Ester is best known for her 1989 hit " Oui, je l'adore". Her real name
was Sabrina Ocon, born in Toulouse on December 18, 1963, and she chose her stage
name in reference to polyester, the merchandise carried by a truck on her way to
Paris. She began singing under the name Sabrina Ô and recorded her first single,
"Bornéo", written and composed by her guitarist Frédéric Loizeau. In 1989, she
was offered a new opportunity by the Polydor label, seduced by her personality.
