Paul Kalkbrenner
The German musician Paul Kalkbrenner was born in Leipzig on June 11, 1977. While
still at school, Paul Kalkbrenner began DJing in youth clubs together with his
friend Sascha Funke. His first EP, entitled Lagersee, was released in 1999 under
the pseudonym Paul dB+. The musician's debut album, Superimpose, was released in
2001. With his album Self , Paul Kalkbrenner became particularly well known in
the dance scene. In 2008, the musician not only played DJ Ickarus in the film
Berlin Calling, but also produced the soundtrack to the film. Paul Kalkbrenner
achieved his musical breakth...
