Paul Frederick Jabara, born on January 31, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, was an
American actor, singer, and songwriter. He debuted on Broadway in Hair. Jabara
released his debut album, Shut Out, in 1977. During his time with Casablanca
Records, he recorded several duets with Donna Summer, including "Shut Out'
(1977), "Something's Missing (In My Life)" (1978), and "Never Lose Your Sense of
Humor" (1979). Jabara achieved success as a songwriter with the song "Last
Dance", which Summer performed for the 1978 film Thank God It's Friday, which
