Paul Mark Cauthen, born in 1986 in Dallas, Texas, is an American
singer-songwriter known for his work in alternative country and Americana.
Raised in a religious household, Cauthen's early musical influences included
lessons from his grandfather, who taught him guitar and harmonies. He began his
music career as part of the duo Sons of Fathers with David Beck, releasing two
albums produced by Lloyd Maines before the band disbanded in 2014. Cauthen's
solo debut, My Gospel, was released in 2016 on Lightning Rod Records and
